TEXMAR Deck Covering System is a sub floor composition for ships and offshore platforms, where high quality, long lasting and price competitive products are required
TEXMAR Deck Covering System may be used for two different purposes:
  1. Leveling and underlayment compound
  2. Sound/Vibration Damping and Leveling/underlayment

1. TEXMAR Leveling/underlayment compound

Is a composition of Texmar M19 powder mixed with Texmar L1 as the wet part.
Texmar M19 is a powder with a density of 1900 kg/m3.
Texmar L1 is a high quality SBR-latex composed to suit the M19 powder.
Together Texmar M19 and L1 form a very strong and elastic subfloor compound with a smooth surface on which carpets, vinyl floor covering or tiles may be applied.

Texmar sound- and vibration damping compound

2. Texmar sound- and vibration damping system

Is a very “easy-to-use” system consisting of a viscoelastic compound Texmar VG, which is applied to the steel deck in the section where noise and vibration is to be reduced.
The combination of Texmar VG and Texmar M19/L1 forms a highly effective system for sound damping and underlayment on top of which carpets, vinyl floor covering or tiles may be applied.

Application of leveling compound

Packing

Texmar M19 powder is supplied in 25 kg bags (40 bags on a pallet).
Texmar L1 is supplied in 200 kg drums.
Texmar VG is supplied in 30 kg buckets.

Storage

Texmar M19 powder should be stored in a dry place, above freezing point.
Texmar L1 and Texmar VG should be stored above freezing point.

Texmar deck covering system has been tested and approved by SP Swedish National Testing and Research Institute.
